Regan takes the job because she's desperate. She just got fired, she's down to her last hundred bucks, and she hasn't spoken to her parents in years. She's out of options, and serving drinks at an upscale gentlemen's club sounds easy enough.
At the Silver Cross Club, she's exposed to a world of wealth and hedonism that she's never experienced. And the clients tip well -- so well that she's willing to ignore the debauchery that goes on in the back rooms.
Then she meets billionaire Carter Sutton.
Scion of a powerful family, and a regular client at the club, he's rich, handsome, and incredibly charismatic. Regan finds herself being drawn into his orbit.
But their undeniable chemistry can't prepare Regan for Carter's sexual desires. He's used to getting what he wants, and Regan has only two options resist, or surrender completely...
This 38,000-word novella is an erotic romance with explicit content and is intended for an adult audience.

SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT.This book made me truly angry. The male protagonist did a couple of things I just can't get past. He had his woman serve his clients topless. I love books, like Lynda Chance, for example, with the over-the-top alpha. This guy is a slug. He wants to see her breasts, so he lets his clients see them too, with the excuse that with two more totally naked girls in the room, they won't really pay attention to her. Really? What kind of man has his own woman going around topless, Oh, I know! NOT MINE!!
Then the coup de grace. He asked her to 'service' another man because he owed him a favor. WHAT!? He apologized you say. But he did it. He asked. He wasn't late for a date. He didn't forget her birthday. He didn't spill wine on the white carpet, No. He asked her to have oral sex with another man.
Perhaps this book is just too sophisticated for me. Perhaps all of you are laughing at me. Poor Marita. We do this all the time. Perhaps. But I don't think so. I read romance for........romance. Not perversion. This guy needs therapy, not a girlfriend. One woman's opinion.

Serving the Billionaire The Silver Cross Club Book 1 eBook Bec Linder Reviews
It was not bad, but I had some serious problems with this story. There will be SPOILERS, so don't read it if you don't like them.
I hated it, when she was ready to do almost anything if only the price was high enough - you want me topless? Fine. I'm to wear a vibrator for you? No problem. And all the time it was said she was still a virgin. And I couldn't understand why she didn't tell Carter about that before going to bed with him. And after they spent the night together, she let him treat her as a whore and then she forgave him everything when he said he was sorry. Really, what's wrong with her?
He was no better. All these sexual games with Regan (including asking her to give a blow job to some other man, yuck), and when she tells him he doesn't respect women he explains he is working undercover and being in the club is his duty? He's lucky Regan is so gullible, any other woman would throw him out at the moment.
The story was not bad, but the main characters were truly horrible.
I know this book sounds like a normal HEA Fairy Tale and you are hesitant to pick it up because you have read them all before. Well I am telling you different.
This book doesn't read like a blah blah blah and blah blah blah. Then you put a blah blah. It's not a recipe. It’s not built or constructed. It's a conversation. Not necessarily with us, the reader, but with the main character internally. Regan is an intelligent self reliant woman in her mid twenties. She has recently lost her job (for reasons beyond her control) and sadly she knows her rent is due. STORY OF OUR LIVES!!! Who has not been there??? AND she is in NY!!! So what does a girl with less than 100 bucks in her bank account do?? EAT OF COURSE.
As her food is cooking at the local bodega she sees a help wanted sign. Cocktail Waitress Wanted. That’s all its says and honestly it's all I am going to tell you from here. Yes yes... We know she has to have gotten the job, but our dear little sweet shy Regan knows nothing about COCKtails or Waitressing - OR being a girly girl for that matter! AND yes she meets a Billionaire. The book IS called Serving a Billionaire.
But I will tell you this... Hold on because this fast paced, well written, well developed storyline just goes and you don't want to put it down. I had my kindle propped up as I was folding clothes. The story was in Regan's POV (I said that before kinda in case you were not paying attention) so you can just see and feel what it was like for her to awkwardly maneuver through this new experience.
Now... You’re asking me what's the difference between other fairy tale stories like this. Well, the girl struggles and she falls in love with a complete jerk or sorta jerk. I don't know, but it did it for me. It tugged at my baseball cap (oh and not cuz Regan was of Philippine origin because that was touched upon once). Check the book out. It took me a day to read, well, back and forth between chores, but I really loved it. I am interested to see what else Bec Linder is going to do for the Silver Cross Series. I tip my Nerd Girl hat to ya!
Okay, so this was an enjoyable read. It was steamy and seemed relatively plausible (in fantasy kind of way). The emotions that Regan and Carter felt were written really well. Their instant connection and seemingly strong feelings pulling them together time and time again were great. What I had a hard time with, was Regan's constant decision making seemed solely based on the large sums of money, which seemed to contradict her when she describes the pull she feels for Carter. Also, Carter's constant need to throw his money at Regan seemed a bit excessive. Throughout the book, the emotions portrayed and both of the character's actions constantly felt like they were contradicting each other.
There was also a point were Carter seemed like a complete a$$h0le, which made me not like him at all, as well as Regan's focus on the money Carter was giving her. She reminds me of a Gold Digger who does whatever it takes to get a rich guy to spend/give her money, which made me not like her either.
When the ending came, I was irritated. It was predictable and felt too much like a Cliché. I just wanted to be done with the book. The start was great but by 2/3rds of the way through it became irritating. The book started to feel forced into the ending, which really felt like the beginning of Carter and Regan's story.
I think this book has great potential but needs a different ending and the characters need fixing, so they don't become ones the readers can't stand.
This is going to contain SPOILERS. I'm not sure I liked this book. Why? It moved to fast, nothing was explained, her being a virgin and with that meeting and having sex with a stranger within a week and basically becoming a sub. Then realizing they couldn't live without each other. Too much and at the same time not enough.
SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT.
